APA 7th Edition Quick Rules

Author format: Last name, First initial. Middle initial. — e.g., Smith, J. A.. For two authors use &; for 3–20 list all; for 21+ list first 19, then … then last.

Sentence case for titles: Only the first word of the title, the first word after a colon, and proper nouns are capitalised in article/chapter titles.

Italics: Journal names, book titles, volume numbers, and magazine/newspaper names are italicised.

DOI: Always use the https://doi.org/ format when a DOI is available. Only include a URL when there is no DOI.
