APN Settings Reference

Look up the correct APN settings for any US carrier. Find APN name, type, MCC, MNC, MMSC, and MMS settings for data and MMS.

🔍
iPhone note: Most iPhones configure APN settings automatically via carrier profiles. If your iPhone shows "No Service" or MMS isn't working, you may need to install a carrier profile. Go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management and look for a carrier profile, or contact your carrier for a profile download link. Manual APN entry is only possible on some jailbroken or carrier-unlocked devices.

What Is an APN?

APN stands for Access Point Name. It's a gateway between your carrier's mobile network and the internet. Without the correct APN, your phone can't access mobile data or send/receive MMS messages. Most phones configure this automatically when you insert a SIM, but with MVNOs or when switching carriers, you may need to enter it manually.

How to Set APN on Android

Go to Settings → Connections (or Network) → Mobile Networks → Access Point Names. Tap the + button to add a new APN. Enter the values shown above exactly as shown. Save and select the new APN. Restart your phone if data doesn't connect immediately.

How to Set APN on iPhone

iPhones typically don't allow manual APN editing. Instead, carriers provide a configuration profile. If you're with an MVNO, visit their website on your iPhone or contact support to get the carrier profile. Some unlocked iPhones running iOS 16+ allow APN editing at Settings → Cellular → Cellular Data Network.

MCC and MNC

MCC is the Mobile Country Code (310 or 311 for USA). MNC is the Mobile Network Code identifying the specific carrier. These are used by MVNOs running on parent networks — for example, Mint Mobile uses T-Mobile's network (MCC 310, MNC 260).
