🌱 NPK Dilution Calculator

Calculate exact fertiliser dilutions for any volume of water. Understand NPK ratios, when to use them, and how to convert between concentrate and use-rate.

Fertiliser Presets

⚖️ Balanced 20-20-20

All-purpose. General vegetative growth. Good for most houseplants.

🌸 Bloom Booster 10-52-10

High P promotes flower initiation and root development. Use in bud stage.

🌿 High Nitrogen 30-10-10

For leafy growth stage. Lawns, leafy vegetables, foliage plants.

🍅 Tomato / Fruiting 5-10-30

High K for fruit development and disease resistance. Late fruiting stage.

🌱 Seedling 3-12-6

Mild, high-P formula. Encourages strong root development in young plants.

🌳 Slow-Release 14-14-14

Granular balanced formula. For trees, shrubs, and outdoor containers.

🌿 What NPK means: N = Nitrogen (leaf and stem growth, green colour). P = Phosphorus (root development, flower and fruit set). K = Potassium (overall plant health, disease resistance, fruit quality). Numbers show the percentage by weight of each nutrient in the fertiliser.
💧 Always dilute — never exceed: Over-fertilising causes fertiliser burn (salt build-up draws moisture out of roots). Start at half the recommended dose for new plants or after repotting. Flush soil with plain water monthly to prevent salt accumulation.
📅 Feeding schedule: Actively growing plants: feed every 2–4 weeks. Dormant plants (winter): reduce or stop feeding. Slow-release granules: apply once per season. Liquid feeds give immediate uptake; granular feeds release slowly over weeks.
