How Wallpaper Rolls Are Calculated
Each roll is divided into drops — vertical strips cut to ceiling height. The number of drops per roll depends on the roll length divided by the drop length (ceiling height + any pattern repeat allowance).
The number of drops needed across the room is determined by the total wall width divided by the roll width, rounded up. Total rolls = drops needed ÷ drops per roll, rounded up, plus one extra roll for contingency.
Always buy one extra roll from the same batch. Dye lots change between print runs and colours may not match exactly.
